- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Professor Marja-Liisa Riekkola is head of the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry and Vice-Dean (Research) of Faculty of Science at the University of Helsinki. Her research interests are related to separation science (CE, FFF, miniaturization, multidimensional chromatography, on-line coupled techniques), and the applicability of different instrumental techniques to aerosol particle and biomolecular interaction studies. Prof. Riekkola has published over 310 scientific peer-reviewed papers, one book and eight book chapters, and over 180 other papers in the field of analytical chemistry. Her research has been recognized by the Magnus Ehrnrooth Prize in Chemistry, Emmanuel Merck Prize in Chromatography and the Russian Tswett Medal in Chromatography, and she has been appointed a Member of the Finnish Society of Science and Letters, and a Member of Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. Professor Riekkola is editor in J. Chromatogr. A and board member in Chromatographia, Electrophoresis, J. Chromatogr. Sci. and J. Sep. Sci.
