Aliaa Shallan is currently a Ph.D. student in the school of chemistry, University of Tasmania, Australia; funded by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. Her project deals with pharmaceutical analysis in biological samples and on-line sample pre-treatment. Main research interest is microfluidic techniques for sample-in/answer-out portable devices. She is also an Analytical Chemistry Assistant Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy, Helwan University, and a Technical Assessor in the Egyptian Accreditation Committee. Both of these positions concern with advances in separation science and their applications.
