Dr. Maged Peter Mansour Joined CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research, Hobart as a post doctoral fellow in 1995 after completing a B.App.Sci. and M.App.Sci. degrees from RMIT in wool lipids and PhD human nutrition (trans-fatty acids) from Deakin University. As a research projects officer at CMAR has experience and interests in a variety of microalgal and other marine lipid analysis and purification techniques including TLC-FID, Monolithic HPLC, LC-MS and HPCCC. For the last 10 years has been part of the omega-3 project within the Food Futures Flagship which has the goal of producing DHA-Canola seed oils.
