Hanfa Zou obtained his Ph. D. from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989 and then joined this institute as research assistant. He spent one and half years as senior visiting scholar at the Banett Institute of Northeastern University, Boston since Febuary of 1994. Now he is full professor as well as directors of Key Lab of Separation Sciences for Analytical Chemistry and National Chromatographic R&A Center at DICP, and serving as the contributing editor of TrAC, the associate editors of BMC Genomics, J. Sep. Sci. and Chin. J. Chem. and the editorial board member of Anal. Chem., J. Proteome Res., J. Chromatogr.A, Aanl. Chim. Acta, Electrophoresis and Anal. Methods. He received number of awards including the National Silver Awards for Natural Sciences in 2012. His research interests include the preparation of monolithic stationary phases and nanomaterils for separation sciences, technology and method development for proteome analysis etc.
