Dr. Ekaterina Nesterenko, M.Sc., PhD received her M.Sc. in Chemistry from M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) in 2004 and in 2008 was awarded the degree of PhD from Dublin City University in 2008. Same year she took up the position of post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Bioanalytical Sciences (CBAS)/Bristol Myers-Squibb Company and in 2009 moved to the Irish Separation Science Cluster working on the development of multidimensional and hyphenated chromatographic techniques and stationary phase design for various applications. She has been involved in the development of several novel devices and techniques within the group, two of which have resulted in three patents. Dr. Nesterenko is an author of 26 papers in peer-reviewed journals and over 80 conference presentations. Her primary expertise lies in the area of stationary phase development and the development of separation instrumentation and she has been involved in many projects both as collaborator and supervisor.
